What is ainring?

Ainring is a municipality in the district of Berchtesgadener Land in the state of Bavaria, Germany. It is located just a few kilometers north of the city of Salzburg, Austria. The municipality has a population of approximately 9,000 people and covers an area of 47.32 km².

One of the main attractions in Ainring is the historic castle of Schloss Ainring, which was built in the mid-16th century and has since been restored. The town also has several beautiful churches, including the Parish Church of St. Michael and the Church of St. Leonhard.

Ainring is surrounded by scenic countryside, with the Berchtesgaden Alps to the south and the rolling hills of the Upper Bavarian Plateau to the north.
