What is almanacks?

An almanac is an annual publication that contains information on seasonal changes, astronomical data, weather forecasts, and various other subjects. Traditionally, almanacks have been used by farmers and sailors to plan their work, as well as by individuals who are interested in astrology, astronomy, and weather forecasting. An almanack typically includes information such as moon phases, sunrises, sunsets, tides, holidays, and notable celestial events like meteor showers. Some almanacs also feature things like recipes, folk wisdom, gardening tips, and other useful information. Today, many almanacs have gone digital, but some traditional print versions are still available and widely used.
