What is androphile?

Androphile refers to a person who is sexually attracted to men or masculinity. It is the opposite of gynephilia, which refers to sexual attraction to women or femininity. The term androphile has been used in various fields, including psychology and sociology, to describe an individual's sexual orientation. Androphiles may identify as gay, bisexual or pansexual and may experience attraction to cisgender or transgender men. The term is less commonly used than others such as gay, homosexual or queer, but it is still a valid descriptor of sexual orientation.
