What is anthropophages?

Anthropophages are mythical creatures that are said to live in remote and dangerous regions of the world. They are often described as being man-eaters, or cannibals, and are said to capture and eat human beings as part of their regular diet.

In many ancient civilizations, anthropophages were seen as a symbol of the dangers of the unknown and unfamiliar, and were often used as a warning to travelers. Some cultures even believed that the anthropophages were actual human beings who had become possessed by evil spirits or demons, and were therefore beyond redemption.

While anthropophages are no longer believed to exist, their legend persists in many parts of the world, and has inspired countless works of fiction and storytelling throughout human history. The idea of cannibalistic monsters lurking in remote and uncharted regions of the world continues to captivate our imaginations, even in modern times.
