Bebeto, whose full name is José Roberto Gama de Oliveira, is a retired Brazilian football player who was born on February 16, 1964, in Salvador, Brazil. He is considered one of the greatest Brazilian strikers of all time and was known for his exceptional goal-scoring ability and technical skills.

Bebeto began his professional career with Vitória in Brazil before moving to Flamengo, where he achieved great success and won numerous titles. He also had successful stints with clubs in Spain, Mexico, and Japan.

Bebeto is perhaps best known for his performances with the Brazilian national team, with whom he won the 1994 FIFA World Cup. He scored three goals in the tournament, including a memorable celebration where he cradled the ball like a baby in honor of his newborn son. Bebeto earned a total of 75 caps for Brazil and scored 39 goals.
