Walter Van Beirendonck is a Belgian fashion designer known for his avant-garde and often whimsical designs. He graduated from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp in 1980 along with other notable designers such as Dries Van Noten and Ann Demeulemeester. He launched his own fashion label in 1983.
