What is blanquilla?

Blanquilla is a small island located in the Caribbean Sea belonging to Venezuela. It is part of the Federal Dependencies of Venezuela, along with another 70 small islands and cays. The island is approximately 18 square kilometers in size and has a population of about 1,000 people.
