Bohemia is a historical region in the western part of the Czech Republic. It was one of the three regions that made up the former Czechoslovakia, the other two being Moravia and Slovakia. Bohemia has a rich history and is known for its cultural heritage, including famous composers such as Antonín Dvořák and Bedřich Smetana, as well as its famous Pilsner beer. The region has also experienced a lot of political turmoil over the years, particularly during World War II and the subsequent Communist era. Today, Bohemia is a popular tourist destination, with its beautiful cities such as Prague, Český Krumlov, and Karlovy Vary drawing visitors from all over the world.
