What is bunnahabhaim?

Bunnahabhain is a single malt Scotch whisky distillery, located on the northern coast of the Isle of Islay in Scotland. The distillery was established in 1881 and is known for producing whisky with a gentle, easy-drinking style that is distinct from the heavily peated whiskies for which Islay is known.

Bunnahabhain uses mainly unpeated malt in its whisky, although a small proportion of peated malt is used in some expressions. The water used in production comes from a natural spring located near the distillery. Bunnahabhain's whisky is aged in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks, resulting in a range of flavors and aromas.

In recent years, Bunnahabhain has expanded its range of whisky offerings to include limited edition and special release bottlings, as well as non-age statement expressions such as Toiteach A Dhà and Stiùireadair. The distillery also offers tours and tastings for visitors.
