Jack Butland is an English professional football player, born on March 10, 1993, in Bristol, England. He started his footballing journey at the Birmingham City academy before making his first-team debut in 2012. Butland became the youngest goalkeeper to play for England's senior team in 2012, when he was just 19 years old. He has since been around the England national team set-up, serving as a backup goalkeeper in the 2018 World Cup. After leaving Birmingham, Butland moved to Stoke City, where he played for six seasons before signing for Crystal Palace in October 2020. He is known for his excellent reflexes, agility, and shot-stopping abilities and is regarded as one of the most promising young goalkeepers in English football.
