What is campo.imperatore?

Campo Imperatore is a large plateau located in the Gran Sasso e Monti della Laga National Park in the Abruzzo region of Italy. It is also known as the "Little Tibet" of Italy due to its high altitude and resemblance to the Tibetan highlands. The plateau is situated at an altitude of 1,500 meters (4,921 feet) and covers an area of around 80 square kilometers (31 square miles).

Campo Imperatore is a popular tourist destination, and it attracts visitors who enjoy hiking and skiing.
