Canvas offers a user-friendly and customizable interface with features such as assignment submission, discussion boards, grading, calendar integration, and access to multimedia content. It also supports various content formats, including HTML, PDFs, and videos, and provides integrations with other educational technologies such as Turnitin, Google Drive, and Microsoft Office 365. Canvas is primarily a cloud-based LMS, but it can also be hosted on-premises and has apps available for iOS and Android devices.
