What is chromo?

A chromo, also known as a Chromolithograph or Chromolithography, is a printing technique that involves creating color lithographs using multiple lithographic stones, each with a different color ink. This process was commonly used in the 19th century to produce high-quality prints, such as advertising posters and decorative prints for the home. Chromos were also used to reproduce famous paintings and other works of art. The process of chromolithography allowed for vivid and detailed colors that were not possible with earlier printing methods. Today, chromos are often considered collector's items and can be found in antique shops and museums.
