What is clait?

CLAIT (Computer Literacy and Information Technology) is a series of computer-based qualifications developed and awarded by the British Computer Society. CLAIT is aimed at those who are new to computers or want to develop their existing skills in using computers for work, study or personal use. The qualifications cover a range of topics such as word processing, spreadsheets, databases, email, internet and multimedia. CLAIT is designed to develop confidence and competence in using computers and is widely recognised by employers as an essential skill in the modern workplace. The CLAIT qualifications are available at different levels and can be studied intensively or over a longer period of time.
