Cole Hammer is a professional golfer from Houston, Texas who was born on June 28, 2000. He started playing golf at the age of two, and at the age of 12, he became the youngest player to qualify for the US Amateur Championship. Hammer has won numerous amateur golf tournaments and was named the recipient of the prestigious 2021 Byron Nelson Award, which is given annually to a graduating senior who displays excellence in golf, academics and character. In 2019, he was selected to represent the United States at the Walker Cup, where he helped his team to a win over Great Britain and Ireland. Hammer currently attends the University of Texas at Austin and plays on the school's golf team.
