What is dc-9?

The DC-9 is a narrow-body twin-engine jet airliner, designed and produced by Douglas Aircraft Company from 1965 to 1982. It was one of the most successful models of Douglas Aircraft Company, and its design served as the foundation for subsequent models, including the MD-80 and MD-90. The DC-9 was a medium-haul aircraft, with a seating capacity of up to 135 passengers, and a range of 1,200 to 2,600 miles. It was widely used by airlines around the world, including Delta, Eastern, TWA, and Northwest Orient. The DC-9 was known for its reliable and efficient performance, and several versions of the aircraft were built, including the DC-9-10, DC-9-30, and DC-9-50. As of 2021, some DC-9s are still in service, although most have been retired.
