What is delicious?

Delicious is an online bookmarking service that allows users to save and organize their favorite web pages and links. The service was founded in 2003 and was one of the earliest and most popular social bookmarking platforms. Users could save bookmarks with tags and descriptions, making it easier to find and share online content. Delicious was acquired by Yahoo in 2005 but was sold to AVOS Systems in 2011. The service was redesigned and relaunched in 2014, with improved features such as adding pictures and adding notes to saved bookmarks. However, it never regained its popularity and was eventually shut down in 2017. Today, Delicious remains as a read-only archive of bookmarks.
