What is druzen?

Druzen or Druze is a religious community that has its roots in the 10th century Ismaili sect of Shi'a Islam. The Druze faith centers around the belief in the unity of God and the soul's reincarnation. The Druze community is concentrated in Lebanon, Israel, Syria, and Jordan, and they number around one million people worldwide.

The Druze community is known for their strong religious and cultural traditions and their unique practices, which include closed-door religious ceremonies and strict community rules and regulations. They also have a strong emphasis on education and self-improvement, which has helped them to become a highly educated and successful community, with a large number of doctors, lawyers, and other professionals.

The Druze community also has a complex relationship with the larger societies in which they live. They practice a form of religious exclusivity and do not accept converts to their faith. They also have historically been known for their secretive nature, as they do not share their religious practices with outsiders. However, in recent years, the Druze community has become more open and engaged with the world, and they have played a significant role in the political and cultural life of the Middle East.
