What is eliteness?

Eliteness refers to the status of belonging to an elite group or the quality of being elitist. Such a group is often exclusive or selective and has a high status or reputation in society, politics, or industry. Members of elite groups may possess distinct characteristics, such as wealth, education, social status, and power. Eliteness may also refer to a belief in the superiority of one group over others based on such characteristics. Some people view the concept of eliteness as negative, suggesting that it creates inequality, exclusion, and elitism, while others see it as a natural consequence of the distribution of resources and skills in a given society.
