What is elzamalek?

Al-Zamalek Sporting Club, commonly known as El Zamalek, is an Egyptian professional football club based in Cairo. It was founded on January 5th, 1911, by a group of students from the Cairo School of Engineering. El Zamalek is one of the most successful clubs in Egypt, having won numerous domestic and international titles throughout its history, including 27 Egyptian Premier League titles, 23 Egyptian Cups, 5 CAF Champions League titles, and 2 CAF Confederation Cup titles. The club's home ground is the 80,000-capacity Cairo International Stadium, the largest stadium in Africa, although the club also plays some home games at Petrosport Stadium in Cairo. El Zamalek has a fierce rivalry with Al Ahly, with the matches between the two sides commonly known as the Cairo Derby, which is considered as the biggest club football match in Africa.
