What is evictionism?

Evictionism is a political philosophy that advocates for the removal of any individual or group from privately owned property when they are not authorized to be there, without any need for a legal process. It is based on the principle of self-ownership and the right to property, and views any violation of these rights as a form of aggression that can be met with force.

According to evictionism, property owners have the right to use force, including deadly force if necessary, to remove trespassers or squatters from their property. This philosophy has been popularized by libertarian thinkers such as Murray Rothbard and Walter Block, who argue that evictionism is a morally justifiable response to property violations.

Critics of evictionism argue that it can lead to excessive use of force and vigilante justice, and they question the practicality of implementing such a philosophy in society. Nevertheless, the principles of evictionism continue to be discussed and debated in libertarian and anarchist circles.
