What is flavoured?

Flavoured refers to the addition of certain tastes or aromas to food or beverages, in order to enhance their flavour or provide a unique taste experience. Flavours can be natural or artificial, and can come in a variety of types, such as sweet, sour, savoury, spicy, or fruity. Flavoured products can include anything from sweeteners, such as honey or artificial sweeteners, to seasonings and spices, such as garlic or oregano, to syrups, such as caramel or chocolate. Flavoured food and drinks are popular among consumers because they provide variety and novelty, and can make otherwise simple dishes or drinks more interesting and enjoyable. However, some flavours can contain high amounts of sugar, salt or artificial ingredients, which can have negative health effects if consumed in excess.
