What is g-load?

G-load, also known as gravitational load, refers to the force exerted on an object or person due to gravity. It is measured in units of g's, with one g equivalent to the gravitational force experienced at the Earth's surface.

In aviation, g-load is an important concept as it affects the performance and safety of aircraft and pilots. High g-forces can cause pilots to experience the sensation of weightlessness or blackouts, and can also put stress on the aircraft's structure and components.
