What is gabigol?

Gabriel Barbosa, also known as Gabigol, is a Brazilian professional footballer who currently plays as a forward for Flamengo and the Brazil national team. He was born on August 30, 1996, in São Paulo, Brazil.

Gabigol began his youth career with Santos, where he made his professional debut in 2013. He quickly rose to prominence as one of the top young talents in Brazilian football, earning a move to Europe with Inter Milan in 2016.

However, Gabigol struggled to establish himself in Italy and spent time on loan at Benfica and Santos before returning to Brazil permanently in 2018 to play for Flamengo.
