What is gyposaurus?

Gyposaurus is a genus of herbivorous dinosaur that lived during the Early Cretaceous period, around 125-100 million years ago. It belonged to the group of dinosaurs known as hadrosaurs, which were also called "duck-billed" dinosaurs due to their distinctive flattened, toothless, duck-like snouts. Gyposaurus was a relatively small hadrosaur, measuring about 5-6 meters (16-20 feet) in length and weighing around 1-1.5 tonnes. It had a long tail, strong hind legs, and four-toed feet with hoof-like bones. Gyposaurus probably lived in herds and fed on a variety of low-growing vegetation, such as ferns, cycads, and conifers. It is known from fossils found in China and Mongolia.
