What is hastelloy?

Hastelloy is a family of high-performance alloys that are primarily composed of nickel, chromium, and molybdenum. These alloys offer excellent resistance to a wide range of corrosive and high-temperature environments, making them ideal for use in demanding applications such as chemical processing, aerospace, and oil and gas production. Hastelloy alloys are known for their outstanding strength, durability, and resistance to stress corrosion cracking and pitting. They can be easily fabricated and welded using standard techniques, and are available in various grades to suit specific applications. Some of the most commonly used hastelloy alloys include Hastelloy C-276, Hastelloy X, and Hastelloy B-2.
