What is himalaye?

The Himalayas is a mountain range in Asia, separating the plains of the Indian subcontinent from the Tibetan Plateau. It is home to the highest points on Earth, including Mount Everest, and spans more than 1,500 miles across six countries: Bhutan, India, Nepal, China, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. The range is an important source of freshwater, with many of the world's major rivers, like the Ganges and Indus, originating in the Himalayas. The region is also famous for its diverse flora and fauna, including rare species like the snow leopard and Himalayan blue poppy. The Himalayan region is also rich in culture and religion, with communities living in remote villages and monasteries.
