In Islamic mythology, Hooris (also spelled Hoors or Houris) are beautiful, pure, and ethereal female companions of paradise who will be gifted to righteous men in the afterlife. According to Islamic teachings, Hooris are created by Allah to serve the inhabitants of paradise, specially reserved for believers who have fulfilled all of the requirements of the faith and have been admitted to eternal paradise. These beautiful maidens are often described as having large, dark eyes, and delicate figures, and are believed to be entirely obedient to their owners' every command and desire. The term Hooris is derived from the Arabic word “Hoor,” which means “maidens” or “pure virgins.” The concept of Hooris is mentioned in several Islamic texts, including the Quran and Hadith literature.
