What is i-575?

I-575 is a major interstate highway in the state of Georgia in the United States. It starts at I-75 in Marietta, a northern suburb of Atlanta, and runs north to reach the city of Ball Ground in Cherokee County, where it ends and continues as a state highway. The road measures just over 30 miles long and has four or six lanes in each direction.

I-575 provides access to several major cities in the area such as Kennesaw, Woodstock, and Canton and is an important transportation route for commuters and travelers. It is also a frequent route for tourists visiting Georgia's North Georgia mountains, which are located in the northern part of the state.

The highway was constructed in the 1980s and was designed to provide an alternative to the busy I-75 corridor, which often experiences heavy traffic. I-575 is maintained by the Georgia Department of Transportation and is subject to regular maintenance and repair work to ensure the safety of motorists.
