What is ikelos?

Ikelos is an ancient Greek word referring to a combination of supernatural beings and forces that were responsible for dreams, visions, and prophecies. In Greek mythology, Ikelos was also known as one of the Oneiroi, who were the sons of the goddess Nyx (Night) and were responsible for bringing dreams to mortals. Ikelos was considered to be the most skilled of the Oneiroi in shaping and creating dreams. He was depicted as a winged creature with a human head, often carrying a horn or a poppy flower, which were symbols of sleep and dreams. The term "ikelos" is also used in modern astrophysics to describe a type of asteroid that is thought to originate from outside our solar system, known as an interstellar object.
