What is jeuveau?

Jeuveau, also known as prabotulinumtoxinA, is a prescription medication used for the temporary improvement of moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows (glabellar lines) in adults. It is a type of botulinum toxin that works by blocking nerve signals in the muscles where it is injected, causing them to relax and smoothing out wrinkles.

Jeuveau is similar to other popular botulinum toxin products such as Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin. However, it is the newest addition to the market and was approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in 2019.
