What is josta?

Josta is a carbonated soft drink that was first introduced in the United States in 1995 by PepsiCo. It was marketed as an energy drink containing caffeine, taurine, and guarana, and was one of the first energy drinks to be available in mainstream grocery stores.

Josta was available in two flavors: Josta Original and Josta Berry, and was marketed as a healthier alternative to traditional soft drinks. However, it was discontinued in 1999 due to low sales and competition from other energy drinks on the market.

Although Josta was discontinued in the US, it is still available in certain countries, including South Africa, where it is produced by The Coca-Cola Company. It remains a cult favorite among fans of discontinued soft drinks, and there have been several online campaigns calling for its return.
