Ki-200 was a Japanese World War II fighter aircraft developed in the late 1940s as a successor to the Ki-100. It was designed by the Kawasaki Aircraft Industries and was planned to be a high-speed, high-altitude interceptor.
The Ki-200 was powered by a Mitsubishi Ha-112-II radial engine, which allowed it to reach speeds of up to 650 km/h. It was armed with two 20mm cannon and could carry up to 500 kg of bombs or rockets.
However, the Ki-200 never entered mass production as the war ended before it could be fully developed and deployed. Only a few prototype models were built and tested before the project was cancelled.
Despite its limited production and use, the Ki-200 is still considered to be an important part of Japanese aviation history and a valuable example of the technical advancements made during the war.
