What is lases?

A laser (Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation) is a device that generates coherent and intense light through the process of stimulated emission. It works by exciting atoms or molecules in a material to create a population inversion, which produces a high-energy concentration of photons that are then amplified through a feedback loop. The resulting light is highly controlled and focused, allowing it to be used in a variety of applications, including medicine, communications, and manufacturing. Different types of lasers exist, each producing light at a different wavelength or frequency. Lasers can also vary in power output, pulse duration, and mode of operation, depending on their intended use.
