What is leatt?

Leatt is a company that designs and manufactures protective gear for athletes in various sports such as motocross, mountain biking, skiing, and even equestrian. They are well known for their neck braces, which provide added support and protection to the neck and spine during impacts and crashes. In addition to neck braces, Leatt also offers helmets, body armor, knee and elbow guards, and other protective gear. The company was founded in 2001 by Dr. Chris Leatt, a South African neurosurgeon, after he witnessed the death of a fellow motocross rider due to a neck injury.
