Little Kids Rock (LKR) is a non-profit organization that aims to bring music education programs to underserved public schools across the United States. The organization was founded in 2002 by David Wish, a former teacher and musician, with the goal of providing music education opportunities to children who might not otherwise have access to them.
LFK's programs include modern band, which teaches students to play and perform contemporary music styles such as rock, hip-hop, and pop. They also provide instruments, training, and support to teachers in order to help them build sustainable music programs in their schools.
