Lostant is a village located in LaSalle County, Illinois, United States. It was founded in 1871 and incorporated in 1906. The population of Lostant was 486 at the 2010 census. The village is home to the Lostant Elementary School, which serves students in grades pre-K through 8. Lostant is located near the Illinois River and is known for its agricultural industry, particularly corn and soybean production.
