What is lusitani?

Lusitani were an ancient Celtic people who lived in the Iberian Peninsula, mainly in what is now Portugal and western Spain, during the Iron Age (5th century BC to 1st century AD). They were known for their military skill and bravery, and fought against the Roman Empire for many years. Lusitani culture was closely tied with their environment, such as livestock herding, and they had their own distinct language. Some of their traditions have survived to this day in local folklore, such as traditional dance and music.
