What is madrugad?

Madrugada was a Norwegian alternative rock band formed in 1993. The band was made up of vocalist and guitarist Sivert Høyem, guitarist Robert Burås, and bassist Frode Jacobsen. They released six studio albums, including their debut album "Industrial Silence" in 1999, which was a critical and commercial success in Norway. They were known for their dark and brooding sound, often incorporating elements of blues and Americana into their music. Sadly, Burås passed away in 2007, and the band decided to disband the following year. Madrugada remains a beloved and influential band in Norwegian rock history.
