Magirus-Deutz is a European brand of commercial vehicles, particularly known for fire engines and trucks. It was formed when Engine manufacturer Deutz AG and firefighting apparatus manufacturer Magirus merged in 1974. The brand has since been absorbed by Iveco, a division of the CNH Industrial Group, and no longer exists as a separate brand. Magirus-Deutz vehicles were known for their reliability and durability, and were widely used by fire departments and other emergency services in Europe and other parts of the world.
