What is malintention?

Malintention refers to a deliberate purpose to cause harm or injury to another person or entity. It can be motivated by envy, revenge, greed, or any other negative emotion. A person with malintent may plan and carry out actions to hurt others, such as spreading false rumors, stealing, vandalizing property, or physically assaulting someone. Malintent is often associated with criminal behavior, as it involves intentionally violating laws and norms to cause harm. It can also have serious consequences for the victim's physical and mental wellbeing, as well as for their relationships and social standing. Law enforcement agencies and psychologists may use different approaches to identify and prevent malintent, such as surveillance, risk assessment, and counseling.
