What is manglobe?

Manglobe was a Japanese animation studio that was founded in 2002 by former Sunrise producer Shinichirō Kobayashi. The studio was known for producing a variety of anime series and films, including popular titles such as "Samurai Champloo," "Gangsta," and "The World God Only Knows."

Manglobe gained a reputation for its distinct visual style, strong storytelling, and diverse range of genres. The studio frequently collaborated with well-known directors and animators to produce high-quality animation.

Sadly, Manglobe filed for bankruptcy in 2015 due to financial difficulties, leading to the cancellation of several of its ongoing projects and leaving many fans disappointed. Despite its closure, the studio's work continues to be cherished and remembered by anime fans around the world.
