What is miscavage?

David Miscavige (born April 30, 1960) is an American religious leader and the current Chairman of the Board of the Church of Scientology International (CSI). He rose to prominence within the Church in the 1980s following the death of its founder, L. Ron Hubbard.

Miscavige joined the Church of Scientology when he was a teenager and quickly rose through the ranks, becoming a trusted aide to Hubbard. After Hubbard's death, Miscavige was appointed as the new leader of the Church and has been at its helm ever since.

Under Miscavige's leadership, the Church of Scientology has been the subject of controversy and criticism for its alleged mistreatment of members, aggressive tactics towards critics and former members, and its alleged financial mismanagement. Despite this, Miscavige has continued to lead the Church and has been credited with expanding its international reach.

Miscavige is also the author of several Scientology publications, including The Scientology Handbook and What is Scientology? He is married to his high school sweetheart, Michele Miscavige, and the couple has no children.
