What is mushball?

Mushball is a variant of baseball that is typically played on a field that is smaller than a traditional baseball diamond. The game is played with a soft ball that is much larger than a standard baseball and the players do not use gloves or mitts. The ball itself is typically made of foam, rubber, or a soft plastic material.

The rules of mushball generally follow those of traditional baseball, with a few notable variations. For example, instead of running the bases, players simply walk the bases and there are usually no strikeouts. Additionally, there are no foul balls in mushball and the ball can be caught off of one bounce for an out.

Mushball is a popular recreational sport that is often played in parks and other open spaces. It is especially popular among youth groups and summer camps, as well as adults who are looking for a fun and low-key way to stay active and socialize with others.
