What is necanicum?

Necanicum is a river located in northwest Oregon, United States. It flows for approximately 21 miles and empties into the Pacific Ocean at the coastal town of Seaside. The Necanicum River watershed covers an area of around 89 square miles and includes forests, wetlands, and riparian areas. The river supports various populations of fish, such as chinook salmon, steelhead, and cutthroat trout.
