What is neversoft?

Neversoft was a video game developer based in California, United States. The company was founded in 1994 by Joel Jewett, Mick West, and Chris Ward and gained recognition for their work on the popular Tony Hawk's Pro Skater series. Neversoft was also known for developing the Guitar Hero series and creating the iconic eyeball logo that became synonymous with the company.

In 1999, Neversoft was acquired by Activision, and they continued to produce successful games for the company. However, in 2014, Neversoft merged with Infinity Ward, another Activision studio known for the Call of Duty franchise. The combined studio became known as Infinity Ward, and the Neversoft brand was eventually retired.

Neversoft's legacy lives on through their contributions to the gaming industry, particularly their work on the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater series, which is still beloved by fans to this day.
