Omam-Biyik is a former Cameroonian professional footballer who played as a centre-back. He was born on May 21, 1966, in Douala, Cameroon. Omam-Biyik is known for his exceptional defending skills and aerial abilities.
He started his professional football career in Cameroon with Tonnerre Yaoundé before moving to France, where he played for several clubs, including Nimes Olympique, Montpellier HSC, and FC Martigues. He also played for the Cameroonian national team, where he scored the winning goal against Argentina in the 1990 World Cup.
After retiring from football, Omam-Biyik became a coach and currently works as the technical director of the Cameroon Football Federation. He is also a board member of the African Football Confederation. Omam-Biyik is considered a legend in Cameroonian football and is admired for his dedication and contribution to the sport.
