What is othoni?

Othoni is a small island located in the Ionian Sea, northwest of Corfu island in Greece. With a surface area of only 10 square kilometers, it has a population of about 200 people. Othoni is primarily a rural and agricultural community, producing mainly olive oil, honey, and wine. The island has a few small beaches, crystal clear waters, and beautiful natural scenery. The main village on Othoni is Ammos, where most of the island’s facilities are located, including taverns, cafes, and a mini-market.
