What is ozumba?

Ozumba is a town located in the State of Mexico, Mexico. It is situated in the southeastern part of the state and is bordered by the towns of Tepetlixpa to the north, Atlautla to the east, Juchitepec to the south, and Cocotitlán to the west.

Ozumba is known for its cultural heritage and traditional festivities. It is home to the annual celebration of the Day of the Dead, where locals construct elaborate altars and dress up in costumes to honor their departed loved ones. The town is also famous for its colorful and lively carnival celebration, held every year in February.

The economy of Ozumba mainly revolves around agriculture, with the production of corn, beans, and various fruits and vegetables.
