What is psychologue?

Psychology is the scientific study of human behavior and mental processes. A psychologist is a professional who helps people with mental health issues, emotional problems or behavioral disorders. They use various research methods to collect data about a person's psychological well-being, and then use this data to assess their condition, formulate an accurate diagnosis and develop a treatment plan. They can work in a variety of settings including hospitals, schools, government agencies, private practice and research facilities. Psychologists may specialize in different areas such as clinical psychology, counseling psychology, developmental psychology, social psychology, neuropsychology, and educational psychology, among others. They use various tools and techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, hypnosis, biofeedback, and play therapy, to help their patients overcome their issues and improve their well-being.
